LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Republic Bank is now offering its clients two password-free mobile
banking experiences with Eyeprint IDTM from EyeVerify and
Touch ID for its mobile banking application.
With the use of the mobile device camera, Eyeprint ID technology takes
an image and pattern-matches the blood vessels in the whites of the eye,
while Touch ID uses built-in fingerprint-sensor technology, eliminating
the need to remember and type a password.
Both Eyeprint ID and Touch ID give Republic Bank clients the convenience
to access their finances in a more simple and secure way. Additional
benefits of these new features include the ability for Republic Bank
clients to:
-
Log into their mobile banking with the same level of access as if they
had entered their username and password
-
Avoid inconvenient mobile app lockouts and password-related calls to
the Contact Center
-
Safeguard sensitive financial information as their unique eye print
and fingerprints enables a secure log on to their mobile bank account
Republic Bank is committed to innovation and providing our clients with
the most advanced banking solutions. “Eyeprint ID and Touch ID are the
latest offerings from Republic Bank that continue to show our commitment
to make banking easier for our customers,” said Steve Trager, Chairman

serve our customers while keeping their accounts secure is always a

Eyeprint ID and Touch ID are accessed through the Republic Bank mobile
banking app available through Google Play and iTunes App Stores.
